I graduated from the mid-career masters program at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School in December 2011. I’m currently helping launch Government in My Backyard, a site about the federal government and its impact on your daily life.
My journalism career began in the late 1990s at public radio stations WGBH and WBUR in Boston. After a stint on the 4 a.m. newswriting shift at WBUR, I was relieved to land a job as a reporter at New Hampshire Public Radio. I stayed there for seven years, covering everything from the Blessing of the Snowmobiles to the presidential primaries.
In 2006 I moved to Jakarta, where I worked as a freelance journalist and, eventually, Web Editor at the Jakarta Globe newspaper.
